What can you expect when you join us for worship at CCC?
- Hand sanitizer and masks are available at the front door as you enter.
- Physical programs are available, or you can also access all the same information, connection card, service order, message notes, etc. through the website at covenantomaha.org/sunday.
- Masks are not required in the building, however we encourage you to wear a mask as you travel throughout the building and when you are unable to safely social distance from others.
- Masks will be provided near the front doors if you do not have one or forget to bring one with you.
- Chairs will be pre-set in groups of 5 or 6, as well as longer rows. Please choose a group of chairs that best accommodates your family.
- Two black security boxes are mounted at the back of the room for tithes, offerings, and connection cards.
- Room #6, directly behind the worship center, is available for parents to take their child(ren) as needed/desired. Parents will be able to engage with the service from this room.
- Sanitized 'Busy Bags' for children are available at Community Central; but of course you can always bring your own ‘Busy Bag’ for your child(ren) with small toys, crayons, paper, etc. if you'd prefer.
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the lobby area.
- Care for children from birth through pre-K is available, as well as KidsChurch for children Kindergarten-5th grade.
- If you have any questions or need pointed in the right direction, simply stop by Community Central and one of the incredible volunteers will be glad to assist you!
What are we asking from you?
- Please stay home if you are feeling ill
- Masks are encouraged while inside the building. Disposable masks will be available at Community Central if you need one.
- Please practice social distancing while inside the building.
Other information you may need to know:
- Worship team volunteers and those speaking up front during the service may not wear a mask. If this is a concern for you, we ask that you choose a seat near the back of the Worship Center, or worship from home.
- Please note that these precautions are subject to be changed, relaxed, or even eliminated as we follow the direction of the CDC and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
What if I'm gathering online?
- You can access the livestream video either through Facebook or the CCC website. The video should become active by 10am each Sunday morning, allowing you to grab the best seat in the house and be ready to engage in worship with us when the service begins at 10:30am.
- Consider inviting a neighbor, co-worker or family member to join you on Sunday mornings as you engage with the worship service!
- If you are joining us on Facebook Live, consider hosting an online ‘Watch Party’ on Sunday mornings - it’s like inviting your friends and family to worship with you in your living room without having to worry about muddy shoes!
- We will be celebrating Communion during the service on the first Sunday of each month. We encourage you to have your Communion elements ready before the service begins.
- Please respond to the request to fill out the digital connection card each week, as it better allows us to travel this crazy season with you!
- Along with the digital connection card, for those who gather on Facebook Live, we’d love for you to engage through the comments throughout the service! We’re searching for ways to help you feel a part of the service, rather than simply a spectator, as you are so valuable to the broader body of Christ!
- When you prayerfully discern it is the right time to join us on Q Street for Gathered Worship, we’d love for you to do so! We acknowledge that for many who call Community Covenant their church home - and those in the surrounding Omaha community - it will be a while until you feel comfortable gathering in-person in this way. Please know that we love you and are so grateful for your partnership in this dynamically changing ministry! God is good!
