Where Life Begins - Week 1 Day 3

WEEK 1 // DAY 3

TAUGHT AND REMINDED

Jesus describes the Spirit as one who teaches and reminds. This is not simply about gaining information—it is about being formed in truth. The Spirit does not bring new truth that contradicts Jesus; He brings clarity, understanding, and remembrance of what Jesus has already spoken.

This matters because spiritual growth is not just about learning more—it is about seeing more clearly. The Spirit helps you understand Scripture, brings truth to mind when you need it, and gently leads you back when you drift. He works in quiet but powerful ways, shaping your thinking and guiding your heart toward Jesus.

For many people, this is where following Jesus becomes personal. You begin to notice moments when truth comes to mind at just the right time. When conviction gently redirects your path. When Scripture speaks directly into your situation. These are not coincidences. These are the ongoing work of the Spirit in your life.

The invitation today is to become responsive. The Spirit is already at work, but awareness matters. When He prompts you, listen. When He reminds you, respond. When He teaches you, follow. Life begins not when you know everything, but when you begin to walk with the One who leads you into truth.

Reflection Questions:

  • What does Jesus say the Spirit will do in your life?
  • Why is it important that the Spirit reminds you of Jesus’ words?
  • When have you experienced truth coming to mind at the right time?
  • How can you become more responsive to the Spirit’s leading?

Journaling Prompt:

Take time to reflect on a moment when God used truth to guide or correct you, and write about how that shaped you.
Prayer Starter: Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you, remind you of truth, and help you follow Jesus more closely today.
